London Stock Exchange Group Celebrates LSEG Foundation’s 10th Anniversary

Today, in addition to officially closing the celebration of LSEG Foundation's 10th Anniversary week, we are honouring our yearly Foundation Day. As part of the event, London Stock Exchange Group will donate the equivalent of two days’ trading fees from our markets, London Stock Exchange, Borsa Italiana and Turquoise to charity. Through LSEG Foundation, the funds raised will help support a wide range of charities around the world - from London to Milan, New York to Malaysia.

Since 2010, the Foundation has been providing funding to projects and organisations actively impacting the local communities it operates in.  In light of the uniqueness of this day, we are delighted to welcome our colleagues and charity partners to celebrate the winners of the NEF program and those of the London Stock Exchange’s Volunteering Challenge.

Despite the challenging circumstances, also this year we have launched the NEF program, enabling promising young entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds to benefit from business coaching and mentoring. In what is a very competitive field, the winner of the most sustainable pitch will be awarded a place on London Stock Exchange Group’s ELITE network while other candidates will continue to develop their businesses using skills, knowledge and relationships gained through mentoring.

In addition to the former award, we are pleased to celebrate the winners of London Stock Exchange Group’s Volunteering Challenge Award including two main categories: The Regional Challenge and The Most Innovative Challenge. We are proud of the target of colleagues’ involvement reached this year and aim to encourage people to contribute and support as much as possible our communities remotely.
