On Friday, 12 May 2017, London Stock Exchange hosted a Roundtable Summit with India’s Minister of State for Power, Coal, New & Renewable Energy and Mines, Mr Piyush Goyal. This event provided a unique opportunity to hear from Minister Goyal, and to explore the opportunities for the continued development of the Energy for Growth Partnership recently announced between the UK and India. Additionally, the Roundtable discussion touched upon the UK's pivotal role in financing infrastructure investment in India, including through Masala bonds and sustainable financing. The Roundtable was co-hosted with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry and attended by Indian government officials, leading Indian corporates and major investors.
