Celebrating Britain’s Most Admired Companies

Britain's Most Admired Companies study is the longest-running annual survey of corporate reputation in the UK with data across the FTSE 100 and 250 going back 33 years. It is run by expert witnesses in reputation, Echo Research, which is the leading global independent market research agency providing board-ready insights to improve performance and support change for the better, serving over 700 clients spanning all sectors since its inception in 1990. 
 
Today was the celebration of Britain’s Most Admired Companies for 2023, in partnership with the London Stock Exchange. Among the 251 listed companies analysed across 28 sectors and ranked by 13 reputational drivers, congratulations go to Legal & General, crowned as Britain’s Most Admired Company, for the second year running.

“Among the key attributes that shape the rankings of companies, ‘quality of products & services’ continues to top the list as critical to success, along with ‘financial soundness’,  ‘quality of management’, and ‘long-term value potential’. Those that rose to the top also ranked highly for innovation and talent, separating the best of the best. The study also explores the essential factors that UK businesses prioritise to foster resilience amid evolving market dynamics, technological advancements, and regulatory landscapes, highlighting the value of leadership, strategy, and culture to ensure success.”
