International Bulletin Board - Equity (ITBB)


Offers access to trading international equity securities with the same advantages of electronic execution as the IOB, plus the opportunity for participants to register as Market Makers to support trading liquidity.

The service appeals to market users who want to trade electronically, as well as those customers who use the market making system.

There are securities trading on the ITBB from all over the world, including equities of blue chip companies from Japan, Hong Kong and USA. These securities are either secondary listed equities on the Main Market or those admitted to trading on the ITBB on the basis of a listing elsewhere.
  
Settlement
  • Unless agreed by both counterparties to a trade settlement takes place in the standard location for that security
  • There are a wide range of depositaries in which standard settlement should occur due to the number of countries represented on the ITBB, these include:

    - Central Clearing and Settlement System (CCASS) - Hong Kong
    - Central Depository (CDP) - Singapore
    - Depository Trust Company (DTC) - United States
    - Euroclear UK & Ireland
    - Euroclear Bank
    - Japan Securities Depository Centre Inc (JASDEC)
    - National Securities Clearing Corporation Limited (NSCCL) - India
    - SIX SIS - Switzerland
    - strate Central Securities Depository - South Africa
