Affari migration to TradElect

Borsa Italiana and the London Stock Exchange have been working to integrate their systems to deliver unprecedented levels of performance, improved tradability and access across asset classes and markets for all of our customers. Within this page you will find information about timescales and important documentation.

The second phase of the integration process was successfully completed on Monday 1 June. It included:

the migration of the remaining Italian markets, including MOT, SeDex, and ETF Plus, from the Affari platform to TradElect (IDEM will remain on its existing trading platform)
an enriched version of Infolect for all Borsa Italiana and London Stock Exchange market data. This means that customers now have the option of receiving Level 1 or full depth market data from all migrated Italian markets via Infolect, in addition to the existing MDF/DDM Plus data feed.

The major milestones of the Phase 2 migration plan were as follows:

Release of the first version of the Service Manual and of the Technical Interface Specification of TradElect: December 2008.
Availability of the external test environment (Customer Development Service or CDS) for TradElect and Infolect: early January 2009.
Availability of the external test environment (Customer Development Service or CDS) for TradElect and MDF/DDM-plus: early January 2009.
Availability of the Conformance Test Service (CTS) for TradElect, Infolect and MDF/DDM-plus: February 2009.
Specific functional tests for Specialist and Market Makers were carried out during the month of February 2009.
2 Mandatory Public test sessions (Dress Rehearsals) on the production environment were performed in April 2009.
