Technical changes


Below is a list of frequently asked technical questions including connectivity changes for our current member firms. 

 

You will need to complete an Extranex Communications Services Order Form. You can access this form via our eContracts service.

To register for eContracts, please contact the Client Implementation Team on +44 (0)20 7797 3232.

Once the form is complete, we will raise your order with Verizon. A Verizon engineer will call to arrange a site survey within a few days. On completion of the survey, Verizon will raise an order with the supplier of the resilient circuit, who will arrange their own survey. After completion of this final survey, the Exchange will be able to provide you with an estimated delivery date.

How do I upgrade an existing Extranex line?

You will need to complete an Extranex Communications Services Order Form. You can access this form via our eContracts service.

How do I downgrade an existing Extranex line?

How do I add a new enablement?

How do I cease a SAP (Service Action Point)?

Please send a signed letter on headed paper to the Client Implementation Team at the following address:

You will need to specify the SAP identification number and the cease date required. Three months notice is required for each cease.


How do I register for the SETS Internaliser service?

You will need to complete a TradElect Order Form & Subscriber Agreement, selecting the relevant option for the SETS Internaliser service. You can access this form via our eContracts service.

How do I register for OTC Trade Reporting Service?

You will need to complete a TradElect Order Form & Subscriber Agreement, selecting the relevant option for the OTC Trade Reporting Service. You can access this form via our eContracts service.

How do I receive data directly from the London Stock Exchange?

In order to receive data directly from the Exchange, you will need an Extranex connection. You will also need to complete an Infolect Order Form and User Agreement. You can access these forms via our eContracts service.

How do I distribute data that I receive from the Exchange?

In order to distribute data, you will need an Infolect Licence. Therefore, you will need to complete the Infolect Licence Agreement, along with the Infolect Order Form and User Agreement. You can access these forms via our eContracts service.

Member Firms of the London Stock Exchange are charged a lower rate for receiving Infolect data than Non-members.

How do I connect to the FIX Gateway?

Our FIX Gateway service provides efficient connectivity for investment managers, brokers and other execution venues. For more information on the FIX Gateway please follow the link.

How do I sign up for Itemised Trading Charges (ITC) service?

To sign up for ITC service you should complete and return an ITC Contract and Terms and Conditions to Client Implementation Team.
