Becoming a member

We will help you understand the benefits, costs and considerations for Membership, specifically:

• the regulatory requirements for becoming a member
• the Exchange’s trading services and MiFID
• connectivity to the Exchange’s trading and information services
• clearing and settlement arrangements are an important factor when becoming a trading member.  We can facilitate introductions with accredited clearing and settlement providers, for a list of these options please click here.
• annual membership of the London Stock Exchange begins at £5,150 per annum.   A one-off entrance fee of £10,000 is now rebated as on-book trading credits available for new joiners.

Gain access to Borsa Italiana and the range of products traded, from Equities, Bonds and Fixed Income to Structured Products and Derivatives

Following the London Stock Exchange’s merger with Borsa Italiana, we are now offering  members the chance to directly trade MTA equities – now traded on TradElect - by becoming members of Borsa Italiana via our fast-track “Cross-Access” application process.
