How frequently are the statistics files updated?

Each file is updated monthly and is usually published during the second week of the month

Where can I find the number of companies listed?

The number of companies listed can be found in the Markets section by viewing the Main Market or AIM factsheets

Do you publish data on PE Ratios?

We do not publish PE ratio data. This information is usually supplied by data vendors such as Bloomberg or Reuters

Where can I find the daily average value of stocks traded?

The daily average value of stocks traded can be found in the Trading Summary Factsheet

Do you publish delistings information

We do not publish a list of companies that have delisted. You can however find the AIM companies that have delisted each month in the AIM factsheet

Where can I find a companies Listing Prospectus?

Some companies publish their Prospectus on RNS but the best source would be to contact the UKLA

Can you provide share prices for individual stocks?

Share prices can be found by searching for the stock in the Prices and News section. Hisorical prices can be seen by analysing the stock's Share Price Perfomance chart

Do you provide data on companies by region?

The list of all companies, found in the Companies and Issuers section of the Statistics pages, provide a region for all UK incorporated companies

Where can I find the Country of Operation for Main Market companies?

This data is not available, as it is only provided for AIM companies

Can you provide the historic market capitalization for individual companies?

The market cap for each company is captured at the end of each month in the List of Companies files.

Are the market cap statistics given for each company on your monthly files an average of that month or the figures at the last day of that month?

They are the figures as of the last day of the month

Where can I obtain more regular Market Cap figures?

By searching for companies on an individual basis on our website you can see the market cap from the previous day. Alternatively more regular figures may be obtained from real time data vendors such as Proquote, Reuters, Bloomberg etc
