ETCs

These are exchange-traded commodities and they track the performance of commodity indices, physical commodities and currencies.

Investors can buy ETCs tracking a wide range of commodities, from wheat to gold and from oil to pork bellies.

ETCs have a different underlying structure from ETFs but investors can buy and sell them in the same way. Unlike ETFs however, ETCs do not pay dividends so they are more suited for investors looking for long-term capital growth.
