The London Stock Exchange today welcomed the Association of Economic Representatives in London.
This group brings together the economic and commercial attachés from the embassies, consulates, commissions and diplomatic missions based in London. The market was opened by Shmuel Ben Tovim of the Embassy of Israel and Catherine Dickson of the Canadian High Commission. During November the London Stock Exchange will be holding seminars in both Israel and Canada.
The AERL visit was hosted by Colin Milton, the Exchange's Head of International Business Development, and presentations were also made by Jonathan Morris of Berwin Leighton Paisner and Mark Davies of Deloitte.
Colin Milton said: "The London Stock Exchange has an unrivalled international presence and profile, with companies from over 70 countries traded on our markets. We work closely with the UK and international diplomatic corps, to help us deliver our message to companies and advisers around the world, and it is a pleasure to welcome the Association of Economic Representatives here today."
