The London Stock Exchange continually reviews its range of products and services to ensure they meet the needs of our diverse client base. We are therefore pleased to announce the expansion of our delayed data offerings to include a Level 2 delayed data licence option from 1 September 2009.
Existing clients who hold a licence to distribute real time market data costing £10,000 or more per annum can now additionally distribute delayed Level 2 data, at no extra cost, subject to the policy conditions below:
If Level 1 or 2 data is delayed by 15 minutes or more prior to dissemination and display, it is categorised as delayed data and free of data charges. A statement which identifies the data as delayed and states the delay period must be clearly displayed along with any delayed data.
All terminals displaying delayed data must be reported as part of the monthly Infolect declarations on a best endeavours basis. The Exchange requires this information to help us gauge the visibility of our data. Vendors and direct customers should report these figures as accurately as possible, but without undue burden.
Our Infolect Price list for 2009/10 has been updated to reflect the above change in policy and the availability of this new licence.
Existing delayed data (15 minutes delay) licence holders can continue to disseminate delayed Level 1 information and should contact the Exchange on +44 (0) 20 7797 3699 if they wish to additionally disseminate delayed Level 2 data.
