With effect from the close of business on Friday 9 April 2010, Jefferies International Limited ("Jefferies" or "the firm") will cease to use JP Morgan Clearing Corporation as its settlement agent for its gilt-edged ("GEMM") and index-linked gilt edged ("IL GEMM") market making business. Any outstanding positions as at close of business on the above date will continue to settle through CREST code 6012.
With effect from the start of business on Monday 12 April 2010, Jefferies will commence self-settling its GEMM and IL GEMM business using the CREST Code shown below in bold.
The firm acts in a principal and agency capacity in UK domestic and international securities. Jefferies also acts as a market maker in UK domestic securities and has access to SETS and the International Order Book ("IOB").
