With effect from the start of business on Monday 12 April 2010, The Toronto Dominion Bank ("Toronto-Dominion" or "the firm") will commence acting as a gilt-edged market maker ("GEMM") and index-linked gilt-edged market maker ("IL GEMM") as shown below in bold.
Toronto-Dominion acts in a principal capacity in UK domestic securities and has access to SETS.
Toronto-Dominion will cease to settle its gilts business through a settlement agreement with HSBC Bank plc and will self-settle its gilts business using the CREST code shown below in bold. The firm will settle the remainder of its business through a settlement agreement with Merrill Lynch International.
