With effect from the start of business Monday 28 June 2004, Barclays Capital Securities Limited ("Barclays" or "the firm") will change its CREST code as highlighted in bold below.
Any outstanding business at the close of business Friday 25 June 2004 will continue to settle under CREST code 598.
The firm continues to act in a principal and agency capacity in UK domestic and international securities. Barclays also remains a market maker in fixed interest securities.
Barclays continues to have access to SETS, SETSmm and DTS. The firm is also a registered participant in the International Retail Service with the ability to trade report only. Barclays does not have access to the International Order Book.
The firm will continue to settle its DTS business through Euroclear NL account number 961.
