With effect from the start of business on Monday 24 May 2004, Goldman Sachs International ("Goldman Sachs" or "the firm") will commence trading on EUROSETS - The Dutch Trading Service ("DTS").
The firm will also become a DTS General Clearing Member ("GCM") and provide services to Non Clearing Members for DTS central counterparty securities.
Goldman Sachs continues to act as a GCM in relation to UK central counterparty securities and provide Model A settlement services.
The firm will continue to act in a principal and agency capacity in UK domestic and international securities. Goldman Sachs will continue to act as a Market Maker in UK domestic and international securities, Gilt-Edged securities and will continue to act as a Committed Principal for covered warrants. The firm continues to have access to SETS, SETSmm and the International Order Book ("IOB").
Goldman Sachs will settle its DTS business through Euroclear NL account number 550.
