With effect from Tuesday 29 August 2000, a new division of HSBC Bank Plc, HSBC Internet Sharedealing will commence trading. HSBC Internet Sharedealing will act as a broker dealer in an agency capacity in UK domestic securities and will trade using a new set of firm, CREST, SEAQ and BIC codes.
HSBC Bank plc will continue to act as a broker dealer in an agency and principal capacity, in UK domestic and international securities, and as a market maker in fixed interest securities. HSBC Bank plc will continue to have access to the electronic order book.
