                            Transactions in Shares                             

The Company announces that on 5 June 2014 it sold an aggregate of 1,151,656
Treasury shares at a price of 158p per share, which approximately equates to
the current net asset value of the Fund per share, in consideration for the
acquisition of 5,703,912 ordinary shares in NBNK Investments PLC ("NBNK"),
representing 10.61 per cent. of the issued share capital of NBNK, from an
institution. Following this purchase, the Company now holds 9,071,412 ordinary
shares in NBNK, representing 16.87 per cent. of the issued share capital of

Following the above transactions, the total number of Ordinary Shares held as
treasury shares by the Company is 467,856. The total number of Ordinary Shares
in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 77,761,809.
