"Nature Oil & Gas signs contract to support waste management for Statoil AS drilling operations in Tanzania"

Nature Group PLC (AIM: NGR), the leading maritime and offshore waste specialist is pleased to announce  a major contract win by its Norwegian subsidiary, Nature Oil and Gas AS ("Nature Oil & Gas") for the deployment of a Compact Treatment Unit ("CTU") to  Tanzania. Whilst contracted through its Tanzanian local logistics provider, Supply Base Solutions Ltd, the contract has been initiated and authorized by Statoil.  The contract is for a period of 12 months with a contract value of a minimum of US$1 million and will commence in February 2013.

Nature's CTU will initially treat a substantial volume of offshore waste that is currently being stored onshore from previous drilling campaigns. Once this has been completed the CTU will be available to be sent offshore to support Statoil's drilling operations. This will be the first operation on the African continent for Nature's CTU.

Nature's unique CTU will clean the waste water to meet the local discharge criteria, with target water to be discharged as low as <5ppm Oil in Water, thereby contributing to the protection of the sensitive coastal zones of Tanzania.

Stig Feyling the CEO of Nature Oil and Gas comments "I am very pleased with this long-term contract to support Norway's major oil company in its international expansion.  Statoil was also the first company to use our offshore solution several years ago and we are satisfied that our commitment and proven track record has now resulted in a new contract in a very promising high growth region".
