AMEC plc - Update re Samir Brikho - Director and Chief Executive

Pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.14(2), we hereby advise that Samir Brikho, Director and Chief Executive of AMEC plc, has today been nominated as an independent non-executive director of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB (SEB), a Swedish bank listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange. His appointment is subject to a shareholder vote at SEB's annual general meeting on 21 March 2013.
