Naibu Global International Company Plc
("Naibu" or "the Company")
Change of directors
The Board of Naibu, the AIM-traded branded sportswear manufacturer and supplier (ticker: NBU.L), announces changes to its board of directors with immediate effect.
Resignation of Law Chi Keung (Kenny)
Mr Kenny Law joined Naibu as Chief Financial Officer in October 2011 to help the Company prepare for its admission to trading on AIM in April 2012. Having helped steer the Company through its first months as a listed company, he has decided that now is the time for him to return to Singapore to rejoin his family and to seek a new career challenge. The Company understands and fully supports his decision.
Appointment of Li Zhen
At the same time as announcing the resignation of Mr Law, the Company announces the appointment of Ms Li Zhen, 30, as Mr Law`s successor as Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") of the Company. Ms Li, a PRC national who is fluent in English and is a native of Fuzhou, has highly relevant experience that she can bring to the Company, having worked for both international accounting firms and multinationals.
Both Mr Law`s resignation, and Ms Li`s appointment, will take place with immediate effect, which means that the Company will enjoy a seamless transition in the role of CFO.
There is no further information to disclose with regards to Ms Zhen pursuant to Rule 17 (Schedule Two, paragraph (g)) of the AIM Rules.
Following the Company's year end on 31 December 2012, the Company is pleased to report that overall trading has remained in line with market expectations.
In November 2012, the Company held its 2013 Spring and Summer season sales fair with its distributors. Feedback and orders from its distributors remained strong and the Company remains confident in its outlook for trading in 2013.
Mr Lin Huoyan, the Executive Chairman, said:
"Kenny Law was an invaluable part of our team that worked hard to bring the Company to the position it occupies today as a successful company listed in London. All the directors join with me in wishing him success in the next stage of his career. The directors are also pleased to welcome Li Zhen to the board. We believe her experience to date means she is well qualified to take over as CFO and we are delighted she has agreed to join us. We look forward to working with her during the next phase of our development.
"I am also delighted to report that our trading continues to be in line with market expectations in 2012, and I am look forward to continuing to meet the market's expectations for 2013".
