The average price quoted GBP5.1737 per ordinary share was incorrect, the correct average price is GBP5.7137 per ordinary share. All other details remain the same. Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust PLC announces that, on 7^th December 2012, it bought for cancellation 100,000 ordinary shares in the market at an average price of GBP5.7137 per ordinary share. There remain 328,574,892 shares in issue.
