The Merchants Trust plc
As recommended by the AIC, with effect from 12 June 2008, net asset values are calculated on both a capital and a cum-income basis.
The Merchants Trust PLC announces that at close of business on 29 November 2012:
1) based on the book value of the company's long term debt and preference shares, the capital net asset value per ordinary share was 423.31p.
2) based on the market value of the company's long term debt and preference shares, the capital net asset value per ordinary share was 385.41p.
3) based on the book value of the company's long term debt and preference shares, the cum-income net asset value per ordinary share was 433.63p.
4) based on the market value of the company's long term debt and preference shares, the cum-income net asset value per ordinary share was 395.72.
The market values of the company's long term debt are updated monthly and are based on prices estimated by Evolution Securities.
