DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Shaftesbury Chair And Director Buys Shares

LONDON (Alliance News) - Shaftesbury PLC said on Wednesday that Chairman Jonathan Nicholls purchased 20,000 shares at a price of 1,036.20 pence per share on Tuesday, for a total of GBP207,240.

Also, Non-Executive Director Hilary Riva acquired 1,920 shares at a price of 1,033.84 pence each on Tuesday, for a total of GBP19,849.

It has not been disclosed how many shares Nicholls and Riva holds following the transactions.

Shares in the FTSE 250-listed real estate investment trust closed up 0.1% at 1,050.00 pence on Wednesday.

e-Therapeutics PLC said on Wednesday that Non-Executive Director Trevor Jones bought 59,460 shares at a price of 9.25 pence each.

Following the GBP5,500 transaction, Jones' total holding in the company is 321,721 shares, representing approximately 0.12% of issued share capital.

E-Therapeutics previously had said that Jones has agreed to invest 50% of his annual non-executive director fees, net of tax, into new e-Therapeutics shares.

Shares in the drug discovery and development company closed up 1.6% at 9.40 pence each on Wednesday.

Standard Life Private Equity Trust PLC said Wednesday that Peter McKellar sold 100,000 shares in the company at 348.0 pence earlier in the day.

McKellar is the head of SL Capital Partners, the company's manager. His total shareholding following the sale was not disclosed.

Shares in Standard Life Private Equity Trust closed 0.4% higher at 353.00 pence Wednesday.

Safestyle UK PLC said on Wednesday that Gillian Robinson, wife of Chief Financial Officer Mike Robinson, sold 105,000 share at a price of 166.8 pence per share.

Following this transaction, the Robinsons now holds 211,499 shares in total, representing a 0.3% stake in the company.

Shares in the windows and doors manufacturer closed 1.3% higher at 168.60 pence on Wednesday.

Utilico Emerging Markets Ltd said on Wednesday that Non-Executive Director Anthony Muh purchased 3,565 shares at a price of 226.5 pence per share.

Non-Executive Director Garry Madeiros acquired 4,502 shares at a price of 226.5p each.

Non-Executive Director John Rennocks subscribed for 4,832 shares for 226.5p per share.

Non-Executive Director Susan Hansen purchased 3,565 shares at 226.5p each.

Finally, Non-Executive Director Garth Milne acquired 3,565 shares for 226.5p per share.

It has not been disclosed how many shares in total the directors now hold following these transactions.

Shares in the investment company closed up 1.7% at 227.80 pence on Wednesday.

Scottish Investment Trust PLC said on Wednesday that Investment Manager Alasdair McKinnon has bought shares in the company.

McKinnon bought 4,950 shares on Tuesday at a price of GBP8.68 each, for a total cost of GBP42,966. The company's shares closed flat on Wednesday at 872.00 pence per share.

The company did not give any indication as to his prior or subsequent shareholding. McKinnon joined the firm in 2003 and became investment manager in 2015.

The People's Operator PLC said Chairman Michael Butler increased his stake in company to 3.44%.

Butler increased his holding to 103.4 million shares from 3.4 million shares last Friday. The company also said Non Executive Director Juliet Rosenfeld raised her stake in the company to 187.1 million shares from 37.1 million shares on the same day.

Rosenfeld now owns 6.22% interest in the company.

Shares in the mobile virtual network operator closed down 9.4% at 0.0951 pence.

Futura Medical PLC said Regulatory Affairs Director Rachael Hawken sold 10,313 shares in the healthcare company in a transaction Wednesday.

The price at which the shares were sold was not disclosed. Shares in Futura Medical were 3.3% higher at 35.13 pence on Wednesday. At its present share price, the sale would be worth GBP3,785.

Hawken - in post since May 2017 - sold the shares from her self-invested personal pension. Hawken's holding after the transaction was not disclosed.

Dairy Crest Group PLC said Wednesday that Chairman Stephen Alexander bought GBP7,188 worth of shares in the maker of Cathedral City cheese in a transaction on Friday.

Alexander - chairman since 2014 - purchased 1,250 shares at 575 pence per share. His holding after the transaction was not disclosed.

Shares in Dairy Crest were 1.9% lower at 568.00 pence on Wednesday.

Paragon Entertainment Ltd said its Chief Executive Officer John Dobson bought shares worth GBP35,787 in a transaction on Wednesday.

Dobson - CEO of the the attractions designer and installer since 2016 - bought 1.4 million shares in Paragon at a price of 2.5 pence per share. Shares in Paragon were 32% higher at 2.14 pence on Wednesday.

After the transaction, Dobson held 12.3 million shares in Paragon which is equivalent to a 6.6% holding in the firm.

International Continental Airlines SA said on Wednesday Non-Executive Director Nicola Shaw bought 1,495 shares at a price 667.752 pence on Tuesday.

The transaction had a total value of approximately GBP9,983. Shaw's total interest in the firm following the transaction was not disclosed.

Shares in the British Airways parent closed flat at 668.864p on Wednesday.
