HTN Towers Halts IPO Plans As Suitors Express Interest (ALLIPO)

[ 06 Nov 2015 13:22 ]

LONDON (Alliance News) - HTN Towers PLC on Friday said it has shelved plans to float on the London Stock Exchange as it has received expressions of interest from potential suitors.

The Nigerian telecommunications tower operator had first announced plans to float on October 23.

"The shareholders of the company have received expressions of interest from potential buyers to acquire the company," said Chairman Pierre Danon.

"Consequently, the board of the directors of the company has decided not to proceed with the IPO at this time. Notwithstanding, we were very pleased with the high level of investor engagement in the IPO process," he added.
