The London Stock Exchange will be introducing a range of new customer testing services to support TradElect. These services will enable customers to test their systems against the functionality introduced by the new Trading System.
The new testing services consist of:
- A new Conformance Service
- A new Customer Development Service (CDS)
New Conformance
The new conformance tests are formal tests designed to prove that customer systems can support the functionality of the Exchange’s new system. The test ensures that a stable service is in operation between the customer and the Exchange and that a single customer can not degrade the Exchange’s live service when connected.
Customers Development Service (CDS)
The Customer Development Service is a comprehensive testing service offered by the Exchange designed to mimic the behaviour of the live system. It is built with the same functionality as the new Trading system.
