Affari migration to TradElect

Borsa Italiana and the London Stock Exchange are currently working to integrate their systems in order to bring unprecedented levels of performance, improved tradability and access across asset classes and markets for all of our customers. Within this page you will find information about timescales and important documentation.

Integration timeline

The first phase in the integration process will take place in November 2008. It will include:

  • the migration of the Italian MTA and Expandi equity markets from the current Affari platform to TradElect

  • the Italian MTA and Expandi market data feeds will continue to be broadcast through the MDF/DDM Plus service as usual and, in addition, will also be available through Infolect.

Customers will be able to access both trading and information services through Borsa Italiana’s network (BItNET) or through the London Stock Exchange’s managed network service (Extranex).

The second phase of the integration process will take place during the first half of 2009. It will include:

  • the migration of the remaining Italian markets, including MOT, SeDex, TAH and ETF Plus, from the Affari platform to TradElect (IDEM will remain on its existing trading platform)

  • an enriched version of Infolect will become the single information delivery mechanism for all Borsa Italiana and London Stock Exchange market data. Infolect will also broadcast IDEM data.
