Re-launch of the Technical User Groups
The Technical User Group (TUG) is a quarterly forum providing our customers with the very latest technical information and essential updates on the Exchange’s products and services.
Latest update: The TUGs were successfully re-launched in August 2007 and are proving to be extremely popular. The next one is scheduled for Friday 8 February 2008 – if you wish to attend click here for more information.
Technical Library refresh
The Technical Library is your key resource for all technical related announcements and documentation on the Exchange’s trading and information systems, including:
There are a number of possible enhancements that can be made to this section of the site – the first phase will include refreshing its look and feel to ensure you can access information quickly and easily.
Latest update: Phase 1 of the Technical Library enhancements went live in December 2007. We are currently exploring further enhancements as part of Phase 2 – these will include indexable and searchable service announcements and the possibility of a new desktop alert service.
Technology newsletter
The Exchange is introducing a new technology focused newsletter that will be produced on a quarterly basis. It aims to compliment the Technical User Groups and ensure you are kept up to date on all the latest TradElect and Infolect related developments.

Technical Specifications
The Technical Specifications provide a comprehensive overview of our trading and information interfaces. These are currently being rewritten in a similar format to the Customer Testing Services series of documents and will include an XML tagged version of the messages and fields outlined in the Data Formats specification.
Latest update: Issue 15 of the Technical Specifications is currently being drafted and will be distributed to customers in Q1 2008.
