The Exchange will accredit software solutions that have proven functional and technical components. This provides confidence to the Exchange and to the Software House’s customers that the software solution interacts appropriately with the Exchange’s systems in Live Service.
In choosing to use an accredited solution, the Exchange’s mandatory testing requirements for customers are reduced. This is due to the comprehensive testing which will have already been done by the Software House. As a general principle, customers using the software will only be required to test their network infrastructure and hardware, and not repeat mandatory software testing that has already been carried out by a Software House.
New customers, customers developing their own solutions and customers using third party solutions which have not been Accredited will need to undertake the conformance process.
Independent Software Vendor Accreditation is shown according to information Broadcast Data Group and Trading Mechanism Accredited. Accredtation of Exchange Trading Service Enhancements will also be shown. The ISV Accreditation document will be updated to reflect the Conformance Tests undertaken by existing ISVs.
