Direct Connectivity (Extranex)
Typically, market makers and traders, brokers and fund managers who rely on high performance Exchange data to inform key decisions take data directly from the Exchange at source. This ensures it is delivered as quickly as possible, direct to our customers.
Vendor Data
Those using our data as part of a wider investment view might prefer to connect through an appropriate distributor. There are more than 100 distributors supplying London Stock Exchange data and information services to around 95,000 users around the world.
Customers wishing to maintain a direct connection with the Exchange may choose to take information from a third party vendor, with Extranex being used to access the London Stock Exchange for trading purposes only.

Distributors focusing their services on the London Stock Exchange’s markets can take data directly from us at source, delivered across our fully supported network, or via an intermediary licensed distributor.
Vendor Access Network
In order to extend the geographical reach of our services, the London Stock Exchange has developed agreements with existing information vendors to allow the transmission of secured trading data across their networks.
This allows members who are unable to access Extranex or who wish to connect via their existing vendor to use this solution.
