Changes for existing RNS Contributor Input users:
- Ability to upload word documents - announcements will no longer need to be submitted as an HTML file. Simply upload a Microsoft Word document for greater control over the format of your announcement with no pre-conversion required.
- Superior presentation – Microsoft Word files are converted to HTML rather than ASCII. This produces a more accurate rendering of the source document.
- Online editing – you will be able to edit converted documents using an intuitive online user interface without having to communicate changes by phone to RNS (although 24/7 support still available if required).
- Copyback – you will be able to review and edit announcement content using the Copyback facility. This will give you greater reassurance as final checks can be made prior to release.
- Submission of supporting documents – the ability to upload multiple PDF files providing supplemental information to your main announcement.
- Audit trail of all releases - all distribution points will be tracked and recorded via the main status list page giving you increased control on all points of distribution and a full audit trail.
- Online account management – this will give you greater control along with the flexibility to add and delete users, order, activate and view AVS numbers and authorise agents using any computer with internet access.
- Announcement archive - up to 13 months of new announcement data (one month historic data from day one) will be archived and accessible online. This will give you an enhanced view and ability to track and manage submissions over a greater time period.
- Enhanced print – announcement and header information will be available in a printer-friendly format so that you can create an accurate hardcopy audit trail of the announcement.
- URL - a new url will be used to submit announcements. Re-directs from the current url will be in place on the day the new RNS Submit is launched. It is recommended that you bookmark the new url.
