The Corporate Events Diary
The Corporate events diary is an online calendar for tracking upcoming corporate events affecting UK securities traded on the London Stock Exchange. It offers advance warning of both Stock Situation Notices and Ex-dividend status in a simple, easy-to-use calendar format that allows users to:
- Keep up-to-date with corporate events
- Anticipate the pricing impact of key events on securities
- Prepare both front and back offices for impending announcements
Different levels of access to the service offer a high-level summary to more detailed information. Subscribers log in to download today’s and this week’s corporate events and can search for a Stock Situation Notice as far back as September 2000.

ISO15022 Corporate Actions Service
The London Stock Exchange launched a new SWIFT ISO15022 Corporate Actions product in August. The product delivers UK corporate actions in near real-time throughout the operational day over the SWIFT network, using the MT564 Corporate Actions Notification messages.
This product has been developed in-line with the UK Corporate Actions and SWIFT Data Vendor market practice guidelines. We are also delighted to announce we were the first Stock Exchange to supply centrally sourced corporate actions in near real-time over SWIFT. This development will help move the UK market closer towards the automation of corporate actions.
We have invested in the technologies to support ISO15022 messages utilising functionality our award winning SEDOL Masterfile™ database provides. However, assisting the industry in the effective processing of corporate actions is not something that just happens over night. This is demonstrated by the fact that the experience that we have in formulating and delivering corporate actions data has been the result of over 20 years of activity in this area.

SEDOL UK Corporate Action Download
Customers who take the SEDOL Masterfile Data Download product can also take UK Corporate Action (CA) data in a flat file format via the same FTP method. Change files are made available three times a day, starting at 12 noon, and then again at 6pm and midnight GMT. The data is linked to the SEDOL Masterfile thereby enabling SEDOL customers to not only track the changes to the data, but also take the reason for the change to any UK data as a result of a corporate action.
