Are Specialist Fund Market securities eligible for UK-REIT status?
Answer
Eligibility for UK-REIT status is dependant on compliance with a variety of factors. One of these is that securities must be listed on a recognised stock exchange. This would include the Main Market, but not AIM or the Specialist Fund Market, since securities admitted to these markets do not apply for a listing.
