Main Market - Depositary receipts

Depositary receipts (DRs) are negotiable certificates that represent ownership of a given number of a company’s shares and can be listed and traded independently of the underlying securities.

The two most common types of DR − American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) and Global Depositary Receipts (GDRs) – can both be listed on the Main Market.

The Main Market is the listing venue of choice for global issuers of DRs. This reflects London's deep pool of global capital, highly international investment perspective and world class trading platform for DRs − the International Order Book (IOB).
