Main Market - How your shares are traded 


The Exchange provides a highly active and efficient secondary market for trading in a wide range of Main Market securities including UK and international equities and depositary receipts. There are more than 15,000 securities quoted on the  Exchange’s markets with an average of more than 400,000 trades a day.

The Exchange operates a number of different trading services. The appropriate platform for your securities will be determined by a number of factors including whether you are a UK or international issuer.
