London’s position at the centre of the global finance community is one reason why so many international companies choose to join our markets. Many of the world's leading investment banks, corporate finance houses and advisors are based here, while London's investors are renowned for their professional, outward-looking approach and are particularly receptive to investing in international companies.
Building upon London’s expertise, the Exchange has opened a Chinese representative office in Beijing. The establishment of a permanent presence in Beijing follows the opening of our Hong Kong Office in 2004, and underlines the Exchange’s ongoing commitment to one of its key overseas markets.
Our new office demonstrates the Exchange’s commitment to the Asia Pacific region, and will enable the Exchange to liaise more closely with its existing Asian customers, whilst building relationships across the region and attracting further Asian companies to London.
