Repossessions up 41%
The number of homes repossessed rose by 41 per cent during the six months of the year, it has been revealed.

Latest figures from the Council of Mortgage Lenders (CML) show that some 18,900 homes were seized by lenders during the period after the owners fell behind with mortgage repayments.    Read full story
