Exchange Insight Workstation product features

Exchange Insight Workstation allows you to create and retrieve multiple customisable screen layouts in one desktop terminal. This ‘dealer screen' layout with customised configuration options, enables you to see several frames at once, so you can combine all of your critical trading information and data in one view. With Exchange Insight Workstation, you can access all of the information in Exchange Insight, plus:

Level 2

Level 2 data provides the full ‘depth’ of the markets, showing you the orders behind the bid and offer spread waiting their turn to be filled. On Level 2 SEAQ, the display shows all the Market Makers information including their individual best bid/offer prices as well as the dealing size. Level 2 SETS screens show the full depth of the order book including all outstanding limit buy and sell orders with the price and quantity alongside.

Trades

Watch live streaming trades, prices and trade types update automatically for any stock, colour coded for buy/sell analysis.

Charts

Advanced intraday and historical charting, combined with a complete suite of technical analysis tools. Make sector, index or company comparisons on charts with historic 5 year line, bar or candlestick view.

Portfolio / Watchlist

Create multiple watchlists of your favourite stocks and once you have purchased the stocks, you can move them to your streaming portfolio, updating in real time. You can customise your portfolio and see relevant regulatory news.

News

Get real time regulatory and AFX UK Focus news streamed directly to your desktop. You can customise the fields you choose to display to see only the information you need.

Alerts

Stay informed with configurable real-time news and price alerts sent directly to your email inbox or flashed up in your workstation. You can define limit alerts across any number of stocks against a variety of fields including, up/down price movements changes to mid prices and news.

Dynamic Data Exchange

Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) is the capability to link your workstation to Microsoft Excel. Once exported, the data updates in Excel, in real time, giving you the flexibility of excel to manipulate the data the way you want.

Prices

Real-time, dynamically updating price information directly from the London Stock Exchange, allows you to react more quickly to fast moving markets.

Tickers

Customisable price tickers with filter options to display selected stock price movements.

Customisable screens

Frames can be grouped and linked, so as an EPIC code change in one, will alter other linked frames. Each frame can also be resized (by drag and drop), zoomed or shown in a full size window.

The workstation display is also fully customisable, allowing you to change background colours, font sizes and colours.
