Barclays Capital and Barclays Stockbrokers have followed up their recent entrance into the Listed Structured Products market with the launch of two new products - one based on the Nikkei 225 Index and the other on an Energy sector.

What are Investment Notes?

Investment Notes are an innovative new structured product developed by Barclays Capital and made available to you through Barclays Stockbrokers. They offer the investment appeal of Structured Products with the liquidity of normal equities.


They provide an alternative to sharedealing that can enhance and complement your portfolio, and even provide you access to traditionally institutional markets like commodities, currencies and property, all with an element of capital protection if held to maturity. And by offering Investment Notes via Barclays Stockbrokers they are available at a lower cost than traditional structured products.


You can expect to see new Investment Notes on a regular basis, created in response to changing market conditions.
