To mark Seven Investment Management’s (7IM) recent membership of The London Stock Exchange the company was invited to formally open the market in July 2008.

“To me this is a key bridge between the financial planning and advisory world and the investment world of the international stock market. Professional investment portfolio management is not just about choosing from an array of funds, but also having access to the vital facilities and services of the LSE.
“These include not just stocks and bonds but also the key growing area of Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) which are becoming increasingly important in these markets, as used in 7IM’s new and unique active asset allocated passive (AAP) funds” said Tom Sheridan, Chief Executive Officer of 7IM.2
7IM provide high-net worth retail investors with financial planning and discretionary multi-asset management services and have joined the Exchange to have access to the far broader range and scope of securities available to their clients.
Justin Urquhart Stewart, Director of 7IM, added. “It’s a bit like coming home again to be rejoining the Exchange, and I think we shall be contributing a new area of growth for the LSE as more investment is introduced from the intermediary and planning sector”
