NASDAQ100 ETF STARTS TRADING ON LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE
The NASDAQ100 ETF or EQQQ will today commence trading on the London Stock Exchange. The NASDAQ100 ETF is the world's second most heavily traded ETF, with an average daily value of $3.7 billion traded globally during the first six months of 2005.
The EQQQ will take the number of ETFs traded on the London Stock Exchange's SETSmm platform to fifteen, with existing ETFs offering exposure to a range of UK and global indices and underlyings including the FTSE Xinhua China 25, the MSCI Japan index and corporate bonds.

ETF trading on the London Stock Exchange increased by 49 per cent in value traded in the first six months of 2005 compared with 2004, with a total value traded of £2.6bn.
