The London Stock Exchange is delighted to welcome Patientline plc to AIM - the London market designed for growing and fledgling companies.
Berkshire based Patientline are a leading provider of bedside entertainment and communication services for hospital patients in the UK and the Netherlands. Patientline has been awarded ''Millennium Product'' status by the Design Council for Great Britain in recognition of the innovation and quality of its services, and is also endorsed by the Patients Association.
Patientline offer a diverse range of entertainment services - patients can access 16 Ondigital television channels on and LCD screen, movies, radio, games, audio books and a bedside telephone.
What began as a service to one hospital has rapidly expanded; Patientline now supplies its services to 36 hospitals and has many more contracts in the pipeline.
The unique service Patientline offers is at no cost to the NHS.
Profits raised from their placing on AIM will give Patientline the funds and flexibility to develop the business and focus on expanding in the UK and Europe.
