Orchestream is a pioneer of internet protocol (IP) network management software. Its products are designed to configure and deliver services rapidly and reliably on IP networks. The company's customers are service providers, such as telecommunications carriers, internet service providers and other public network operators, and large businesses.
Orchestream was founded in 1996 by Charles Muirhead and launched its first-generation software product in June 1998. In August 1998, Ashley Ward, Orchestream's chief executive officer with 17 years of technology industry experience, took over management of the company and expanded the senior management team.
Orchestream intends to use the net proceeds from the Global Offer for working capital, sales and marketing and brand development, product development and acquisitions of complementary software technology.
