ReNeuron plc to AIM - 19 November 2000
|
The Exchange takes great pleasure in welcoming Reneuron plc to AIM - the successful London market for growing and fledgling companies.
Founded in 1997, ReNeuron's business centres on the commercial development of technology initiated at the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College, London. This bio-pharmaceutical company develops proprietary treatments for neurological disorders, principally products using brain stem cells for transplantation in the treatment of damaged brain tissue - in particular following stroke, Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease.
The company plans to use the proceeds of its placing to commence clinical trials of brain stem cells in the treatment of stroke in the second half of 2001. In the same time frame, ReNeuron will be looking to complete phase two of its clinical trials on lead compound, ReN 1869.
