The Exchange is delighted to welcome RiverSoft plc to techMARK. RiverSoft engineers, markets and supports advanced software, specialising in innovative internet protocol network monitoring and management software.

RiverSoft's sophisticated NMOS (Network Management Operating System) platform and Fault manager are sold as one product, Open River 2.2.8. This is designed to be able to recognise and adapt to changes in the IP network, with a reduced need for highly skilled IP network personnel.

The company's target customers include service providers, corporate enterprises, systems integrators and value-added resellers. The software is licensed through a combination of direct licence sales through its offices in North America and Europe and indirect licence sales through third party channels. The company has also taken a strategic decision to licence its software through select key original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

The proceeds are to be used for working capital, sales and marketing, research and development, and general corporate purposes.
