Saudi Arabia Capital Markets Day - 12th June 2009

The London Stock Exchange, in partnership with the investment bank EFG-Hermes, hosted the first ever Saudi Arabia Capital Markets Day on the 12th June 2009.

 

7 of Saudi Arabia's top companies held a combined total of 92 one-to-one meetings with London buy-side investors. Due to the high demand from investors, the event was extended into a second day to accommodate all meeting requests.

 

The event was also attended by His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman A. Al-Tuwaijri, Chairman of the Saudi Arabia Capital Market Authority. Together with the Exchange's Chairman, Chris Gibson-Smith, he officially opened the London markets on the morning of the event, and gave an address to the London investment and advisory community.
