The London Stock Exchange congratulates Hardy Oil and Gas plc on the move from AIM to the Main Market.
Hardy joined AIM in 2005, and has raised £50.7million through a number of share placings to fund its exploration activities across its portfolio. Since joining AIM, the company has had a number of exploration successes in India, most recently on the D3 licence, which is operated by its partner Reliance Industries Limited.
Commenting on the move to the Main Market, Paul Mortimer, Chairman of Hardy said:
"AIM has been an excellent platform to support Hardy’s growth since June 2005. We believe that moving our shares to list on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange is appropriate at this time as we are entering the next phase of development of Hardy. With an active exploration and development drilling programme, we are moving forward with confidence.”
