The London Stock Exchange welcomes Better Capital Limited to the AIM market.

Better Capital Limited has been incorporated in Guernsey as a registered closed-ended collective investment scheme. The Company has an experienced Board chaired by Richard Crowder.

Better Capital Limited

The Company has the investment objective of generating attractive total returns from investing (through Better Capital Fund) in a portfolio of distressed businesses, such returns being expected to be from capital growth. In performing its functions, the General Partner of the Fund will have the benefit of consultancy services from Better Capital LLP whose principals are Jon Moulton, Mark Aldridge and Nick Sanders.

The Company is pleased to announce that it has raised gross proceeds of £142.4 million by placing 142.4 million ordinary shares at £1 each. The Broker and Nominated advisor is Numis Securities Limited.
