London Stock Exchange hosts China Investor Day
The London Stock Exchange welcomed 8 Chinese AIM companies to open the London markets, marking the China Investor Day. The event underlines the Exchange’s commitment to support Chinese companies post-IPO, helping to ensure they get the most out of their London quotation.
The Chinese firms in attendance had the opportunity to meet with existing and potential investors as well as analysts interested in Chinese companies. During the day the companies heard about best practice in investor communications from financial communications firm Gavin Anderson, co-organisers of the event.
Chinese firms are attracted to AIM by the opportunity to raise capital from knowledgeable, predominantly institutional investors on a market that encourages innovation through its regulatory system specifically designed to suit the needs of growing companies.
To mark the China Investor Day, senior figures from the 8 companies in attendance, opened the London Stock Exchange's markets, by launching 'The Source' the London Stock Exchange's dynamic sculpture positioned in the main atrium of its building at Paternoster Square.
