The Exchange’s Capital Markets Days facilitate face-to-face, scheduled dialogue between companies and institutional investors.

What is a Capital Markets Day?

A Capital Markets Day:

• brings together select groups of companies and relevant institutional investors for meetings grouped around sectors, topics or geographical regions
• is an effective way for companies to seek new investors, broaden their shareholder base and communicate their investment story
• takes place at the London Stock Exchange's Media and Business Complex.

Our central position within the London financial markets offers an unbiased arena in which to bring together selected groups of companies with the most extensive possible network of appropriate potential investors.

The Exchange identifies, pre-qualifies and invites appropriate institutional investors to ensure their relevance and interest whilst managing the investor scheduling, logistics, marketing and administration on the day.

What happens at the event?

• Group presentations: each company has the opportunity to explain its investment story to a sector- or region-specific institutional audience
• 1:1 meetings: companies take part in highly targeted and individual meetings with investors

This format provides companies with an effective and flexible way to increase their visibility with relevant institutions as well as generate increased interest in their sector.
