EXCHANGES TO OBSERVE ONE MINUTE SILENCE

In a joint response to yesterday's tragedy in the United States, the London Stock Exchange in conjunction with other European exchanges will observe one minute's silence as a mark of respect. The silence will commence from 1:45pm BST (8:45am EST).

The London Stock Exchange has asked member firms to refrain from trading during this minute and automatic execution will be suspended.
